Hi I'm Shelby. I'm a female English setter beagle mix. I am a sweet and small girl only about 25 lbs. I have beautiful brown eyes and a black chocolate coat with tons of freckles on my belly and legs. I am really shy at first. My foster mom says I warm up after a while. So far my foster mom says I seem to be crate trained and we are assessing house training, but so far so good. I love to be carried and to sit in your lap and snuggle. I get along great with other dogs and cats. Believe it or not I am friends with a potbelly pig too. I just love everyone. I love kids too! I am a little shy at times, so probably would do well in a household that was a little on the quieter side. Would you believe I was sitting at a high kill shelter just days away from being euthanized and the wonderful people at RUFF came and sprung me. I also have a special angel that sponsored me to help me on my way, thanks Stacey! So glad to be out and be in a foster home, it was noisy in the high kill shelter and I was really scared. My owner had a terminal illness and had to surrender me. I am looking forward to having my own family and forever home where I can be myself and live my whole life!
