My name is Tyson. My foster mom named me that because I am a boxer. Most of the time, she just calls me Ty. My nickname is “Big Head Fred”. I was abandoned and left chained to a barn in Johnston County. I was there for over a week, chained up with no shelter. A nice elderly couple gave me food and water and called animal control to rescue me. I am very sweet and hug-able! I am 70 pounds now but only weighed 52 when I was rescued! RUFF has fattened me up and I am ready for my new forever home! I love to cuddle and will climb into your lap if you let me! I am not sure why people call small dogs “lap dogs”. I am a great snuggle buddy! Unfortunately, I am a little too fond of cats. But I love other dogs and kids are my favorite! Although I am large, I am very gentle.
