My name is Maddie and I am looking for my forever home! I am shy at first but very affectionate once I get to know you. I have lots of energy and love to play with a ball outside and will run circles around any fenced-in yard. I can be spooked by loud noises and new people so a yard is the best way for me to get exercise. Once I’m tired out, I love to curl up on the couch and will happily sleep under the covers with you at night! I currently live with another dog and two cats and get along great with them.

Sometimes I have to be reminded that the cats won’t put up with my shenanigans, so if I live with cats it’s best if I live with one who knows how to correct me! I’ve never been in a house with young children but I’ve been babysat with families with children five and up and got along with them fine. I’m housebroken and will sit by the door when I need to go out and I do best on a regular schedule. The surest way to my heart is a new squeaky toy and as many treats as you’ll feed me! (KC*)
