Poppy is what can best be described as a "Pocket Pit". She a Pit Bull Terrier who is fully grown at 60 pounds. Poppy loves to play with tug toys, chew rawhide and beef bones, pull the stuffings out of each and every stuffed toy and play with the dogs and puppies in her foster home. Poppy's best friend is a 120 pound male Irish Wolfhound mix who graciously allows Poppy to live the delusion that she is the alpha dog. Poppy needs to be in a home with other dogs and with a fenced yard. While Poppy was once crate trained, she has graduated and now is permitted full run of the house and doesn't need to be crated at all. She sleeps on a dog bed in the living room or on a dog bed in her foster mom's bedroom. (DP)
