Hello there! My name is Tori. I had a difficult start to life, but thanks to RUFF and PAW-NC, I have a second chance.
We can talk about what happened to me, but I prefer to talk about me now. I'm an adult Treeing Walker Hound. I'm a great house dog! I really just like to hang with my humans and the other dogs in the house. I also LOVE to go for walks with my humans. It's one of my favorite things to do. And I love to play with the other dogs. I also like it when my humans teach me things like, "sit", "come", "down", etc. It's a lot of fun. Honestly, I'm the perfect family dog. I'm just so chill and happy.
I'm undergoing heartworm treatment, so I'm looking for a family who wishes to "foster - to - adopt". What that means is that RUFF continues to pay for my medical bills untill I have a clean bill of health. Then we finalize the adoption.
So, we can talk about what happened to me if you want. Honestly, I'd like to forget those days. I was severely neglected. My humans neglected to feed me. Or care for me at all. One day, I walked away from them and was picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter. PAW-NC took one look at me and whisked me over to the emergency vet and reached out to RUFF. And my life changed forever! Just in time, too, because I didn't have much life left. But look at me now!
And now I'm healthy enough to move to my forever home. Are you it!
