Hi my name is Merribelle and I was found abandoned on a back country road very malnourished and heartworm positive (undergoing treatment). I laid by the side of the road for days until a good samaritin rescued me. RUFF heard about my story and knew they had to help! Despite my rough start I am  a goofy girl with a charming, whimsical spirit. I love all the dogs in my foster home, especially Rudy, She and I LOVE to chase each other around the yard. I really am a pleaser when it comes to playing with other dogs and I just go with the flow. I would love to be in a home with another dog that can take the lead and show me the ropes. I am still working on my relationship with humans, it is hard for me to trust since my history with them is not a favorable one. I have a mind of my own and I am working very hard on learning that people are my friends. I am young and full of life, look out world here i come!! Psst....you wanna know a secret?
